With over a decade of design-industry experience, Liz brings her wealth of knowledge gained from working for nationally recognized and AD100 design firms to all of her projects. LFI specializes in creating classic and eclectic spaces which combine elements from a variety of interior styles and influences. We deliver livable, tastefully elevated spaces and believe good design is in the details, your space should be unique, and that luxury doesn’t have to be stuffy. By combining classic forms, varied textures, and well-developed color palettes, LFI creates designs for those seeking a chic—but never stale—space.

After graduating with a BA in Art History, Liz started her career representing top fabric and furniture lines in the showrooms of Chicago’s Merchandise Mart while earning a second degree in interior design. After completion, Liz joined the team at Nate Berkus Associates where she developed her layered and sophisticated aesthetic while working under the principal and design directors on large-scale, high-profile projects. A move to Los Angeles brought Liz to MyDomaine where she produced trend forecasts, style stories, home tours, and designed celebrity home makeovers as the home décor editor and later senior editor of the lifestyle website. A desire to return to full-time client work prompted Liz to join Consort where she oversaw high-end residential and commercial projects as the senior designer. In 2017 Liz Foster Interiors was founded to bring a unique blend of traditional East-coast luxury and relaxed California ease to all of its client projects.
